A person who has completed the CIPS Professional Diploma, or is currently studying any CIPS qualification.
A recognised post-matric qualification evaluated equal to the CIPS Professional Diploma (NFQ 8 Certificate + 3 years tertiary), with relevant subjects — e.g. BSc/B.Com/B.Econ, IAC, ICSA, IMM, or a relevant HND/ND obtained by examination.
Accounting officers and senior managers of corporations may apply under Corporate Membership.
Taking into account an applicant's status in procurement and supply, age and relevant business experience, ZIPS Council determines the membership category granted. Fellow membership requires at least five years as an Associate or Full member of ZIPS or CIPS.
ZIPS is a referral centre for employers in the private and public sectors.
ZIPS intervenes on matters of a professional nature on behalf of members.
